2024 Quota Format
The objective of a Quota Format match is to accumulate points each hole based on your score relative to par. The team with the most combined points over their quota or combined points closest to their quota is the winner of the match.
Points per hole are:
Bogey – 1 Point
Par – 2 Points
Birdie – 4 Points
Eagle – 8 Points
Double Eagle/Hole-in-One – 12 Points
Your quota is calculated by subtracting your handicap from 36 and then dividing by 2. For example, if you are a 10 handicap, you must make 13 points to reach your quota. A 20 handicap must earn 8 points. The lowest allowable MTNGL quota is 3. This is the equivalent of a 30 handicap. Round down ½ points. Individual quotas will be adjusted every 3 weeks throughout the season.
WEEKLY SCORING
Enter each golfer’s points per hole on the score sheet.
Total each golfer’s points for the round.
Indicate over or under quota and how much for each golfer
Indicate a winner or tied match.
Turn in the score sheet.
IF YOU OR YOUR PARTNER CANNOT MAKE IT TO GOLF LEAGUE
Try to find a substitute. If you cannot find a sub, let us know and we will try to find one for you.
WHEN PLAYING SOLO OR WITH A SUBSTITUTE
In the event you a playing your match solo or with a sub, your score will be matched against the player on the other team with the best individual score after the match to determine the winner. The substitute’s score does not count in the match.
